Daniel Guinchard to compete in British F4 with Argenti Motorsport

1 January 2022

Argenti Motorsport promote 2021 British karting sensation Daniel Guinchard to race in the 2022 British F4 Championship after a year of history making results with the Argenti kart team.

Daniel Guinchard began his racing career with Argenti Motorsport kart team in December 2020 at the Rotax International trophy in Portimao, where they went on to win the junior category. In the 2021 season Argenti entered Daniel into three major British karting championships plus one-off events namely, Kartmasters GP and the Open plate. Daniel went on to win all five titles making history by becoming the first Junior driver to win two British Championships in the same year.

Commenting on his move to the British F4 Championship, Daniel had this to say: When I first joined the Argenti Motorsport kart team in December 2020 I had heard good things about them but could never have imagined we would achieve the results we have In the past 12 months as they are extraordinary. When Ron Meadows sat me down and said he’d give me an opportunity to drive for the British F4 team for 2022, I had to pinch myself. These breaks hardly ever come about for normal dad and lad karters like ourselves. The positive atmosphere at the Argenti kart team is what makes them stand out. Everyone is supportive of each other and we all work together to be the best we can be. I was really pleased to see these same values are replicated across to the F4 team. I’m really excited to start my next racing career move in cars. I know there is a lot for me to learn but having spent the winter testing with the Argenti F4 team, I know I have the best people guiding me through this experience”.

Michael Meadows, the Argenti F4 Team Principal, said the following in regard to Guinchard’s signing with the team: We’re excited to have Daniel step up from the kart to F4 team. He’s shown he has a lot of talent and we look forward to helping him continue his development in single seaters. The British F4 championship is particularly competitive and off the back of a good winter test program Daniel should be in a good position moving forwards”.

Further driver announcements from the Argenti team will be revealed later this month.
