Stevenson 3rd in British F4

16th November 2020

Argenti Motorsport took Casper Stevenson to 3rd in the British F4 championship in what was a strong debut season for both parties in the series.

As one of the most competitive series in UK motorsport, the 26 race calendar threw up even more challenges in 2020, by being condensed into a four month window.

Michael Meadows: ‘It has been a strange year for everyone, and as our first year in the series, it was not the easiest, but we enjoyed pitting ourselves against the teams that are established in championship.’

Despite it being the first year for the team, Argenti Motorsport achieved a record number of consecutive podiums with Stevenson (10), with 14 podiums in total, including 2 wins and 2 pole positions. Having moved up from Ginetta Juniors, Stevenson showed good speed and consistency throughout his debut single seater season, and was in the championship fight at the last round.

Reema Juffali showed great progress from her first year in the series, regularly racing in the midfield and using great race craft to move up the order. During the second half of the season Juffali was regularly in the points and closing the gap on pace to the front runners.

Michael Meadows: ‘Our drivers have been great this year. We focus a lot of energy and resources into helping the drivers, and gave them a lot of information, but they were open to it and took on everything we said. It was exciting and rewarding watching their progress throughout the year, and we look forward to following their careers.’
